Girls is not a show I particularly love. Unlike other series, I don’t google casting updates between seasons, or spend inordinate amounts of time discussing it with friends or on social media. It still a good show, a great show even. It’s smart, funny, emotional, and, at times, surprising.
So far season six appears to be a return to basics. After last’s season’s ambitious storyline, the season six premier feels much smaller in scope. That’s not a bad thing.
The series, which debuted its first two episodes on Jan. 6, is great fun. It’s stylish, snappy, often humorous, and everything I’d hoped the often-bland Agents of S.H.I.EL.D. would be.
With the 2014 television season behind us, it’s now time to look ahead to what we’ll be watching in 2015. list. So set your DVR, update your queue, steal your parents’ HBO Go password, and get ready for The TPC’s 2015 TV Preview.
